Here are some photos of IKEBANA, Japanese Flower Arrangement. These are a series of shots that I am taken weekly and the were made by a famous IKEBANA instructor Shizuko Io. By the way these are really big, not easy to take photos but they are beautiful.

Yes, I shot Hitomi Rumi, author and editor of the magazine "JUST". She just published her book and I really do recommend it. The book talks about her journey in India. You can get it at Amazon Japan or at her website here. Oh by the way her photos in her website were taken by me too. She is a great person and really fun to be around. Last month I had the privilege to be part of her book publishing party. Hitomi Rumi, congratulations with your book.

If you remember, few months ago I shot for a election poster in Sano City and guess what, Mr. Igawa was elected! Wow. My congratulations! What happen when you get to your 10th Wedding Anniversary? Well, I am not sure because I have been married for 8 years and our anniversary is still to come but I shot this couple celebrating their 10th Wedding Anniversary. Man, marriage is tough but it is WORTHY, enjoy the slide show. By the way, these flowers are CRAZY beautiful.

Japan Tea Association

This is the poster that I designed for a tea instructor from Japan Tea Association (I had no idea that such an association existed, unbelievable). All the photos was taken by me in one afternoon and I had some of the cakes that you are freezing your eyes on it. Yes, absolutely delicious. She is opening tea classes and if you are interested you can just send me an email. All photos taken not in a studio but on location using soft boxes, umbrellas and 3 strobe lights.

Today I was at Asagaya Station shooting for a glass painter. She has a very cute store and beautiful glass paintings. All the works are hand made and very unique. The name of the store is Crystal Rose and it looks amazing at night time with all the lights from her window. Here are some photos.

Today I was shooting for a graduation of some university students. I love this kimono, it just looks amazing and very Japanese. It was a little too sunny day but we got some amazing photos indoors and out doors. Just terrific shooting. I got a also an simple slide show so just enjoy.
