Today I was in Yokohama shooting for the Funai Media magazine. Today the model was Aoko, owner of 青子 stores and even a restaurant. She is a great person to talk and very friendly. Her coordinator also set up some closes for me and here is the photo! Great time even with the rain. The store was beautiful and it was a fun shooting with Aoko's kids around. For lunch we had German style stew. Very delicious, I do recommend! Check her web site and her restaurant too HERE! |

Today my son came back from the kindergarten with lots of chocolate. Yes, it is valentine day and I here in Japan the girls give chocolate to the boys. It was very cute to see these 6 years little things giving home made chocolates. Oh by the way I haven't got any chocolate this year. ups.. may be nether the last year... hum..

Today I was shooting at the Funai Media located at Shinagawa Station. It was a shooting for a monthly magazine cover and the guest was Nobukazu Kuriki. He is an alpinist and a really cool guy. Today we had an location shooting assignment for an election poster photo. Yes! Politics stuff! This is the set up that I did in a large room in a school in 栃木県佐野市. Set up a background and all the lights, a full portable studio. We took about 3 hours shooting and great over 100 final photos. That's my wife assisting me to check the lights. I will be posting the poster when it gets ready.

This month is my son's 6th birthday, so he got a pair of rollerblades, and he is really into it. One great thing of having kids for a photographer is that you always have someone to take photos. And believe me, they can keep you REALLY busy. (smile) |

Other day we went to the library to check some books, news paper and magazines. We were asked if they could take photo of our family for the news paper and here it is! Amazing! You can check also at 毎日新聞WEB.

Few days ago I stopped at a book store and I found my photo at "V ROCK STAR". This is the photo of the visual rock band called "Dolly" at their concert in Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo. So cool. It was just one photo but they added my name! Very cool. Thank you Dolly and congratulations with your major debut. By the way my photo is the one on the right. (smile) |
